Mumbai – Lt Colonel Prasad Shrikant Purohit and Sadhvi Pradnya Singh received huge relief from special NIA court, which dropped cases against them under MCOCA. Apart from them, Major (retd) Ramesh Upadhyay and Ajay Rahikar were also freed from MCOCA. Other three accused have been freed from all charges without any objection from NIA.
However, Purohit and Sadhvi will be tried for conspiracy and murder charges. At leasr 7 persons were killed and nearly 100 were injured in a motorcycle bomb blast in Malegaon on 29th September 2008.
