Narendra Modi on Palestine Tour

Ramallah – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on all important Palestine tour, which he described as ‘significant’. He is the first Indian Prime Minister to go for official visit of Palestine. Modi has avoided visiting Palestine last year when he was on official tour of Israel. Modi began his tour by visiting strategically important Ramallah city, where he held discussions with Palestine Prime Minister Mahmud Abbas. After this discussion, Modi was conferred Grand Collar of the State of Palestine by Abbas.

Prime Minister Modi also visited memorial of former President of Palestine Yasar Arafat and laid wrath in his memory. Modi expressed that his historical visit will lead to stronger bilateral relations between the two countries.
