Islamabad – Palestine has recalled its Ambassador to Pakistan Walid Abu Ali. He had shared stage with Hafiz Saeed, mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack. After this, angry India has informed Palestine that this was unacceptable. Palestine has expressed its “deep regret” over the situation and within hours Palestine took action against the erred Ambassador. Palestine even assured India that “it stands with India in its fight against terrorism and it will not be engaged with those committing acts of terror against India”, foreign ministry said in a statement in New Delhi.
India and Palestine are old friends; India was one of the earlier countries to recognize Palestine as independent nation. India even went against US and voted against the superpower in UN for its move to shift its consulate to Jerusalem.
