Beed – Guardian Minister of the district Pankaja Munde began her ‘development at every village’ tour today from Khodwa Sawargaon in Parali taluka. During the tour Pankaja will reach to every village and interact with the people. During one such interaction she remembered her father, late Gopinath Munde, when she quoted him that ‘one cannot win elections in Parali on the basis of money and muscle power; only emotions and faith can achieve this target.’
BJP has faced debacle in ZP elections in Parali Taluka, but it succeeded to win Gram Panchayat elections, which were held after ZP elections. Pankaja is facing tough challenge from her cousin and NCP leader Dhananjay Munde. To make the matter worse, even Shiv Sena has decided to contest from Parali this time. So this tour is seen as Pankaja’s efforts to reach to her constituency well in advance.
