Raj Thackeray calls for Bhujbal Chhodo agitation

Mumbai – MNS Chief Raj Thackeray has called for agitation for release of NCP leader Chhagab Bhujbal. His sudden move has raised many eyebrows. Chhagan Bhujbal is in Arthur Road Jail since March 2017 over the allegations of corruption and cheating charges. Though he had applied for bail many times, but he had not got any respite yet.

On this background, some of Bhujbal’s supporters from Nashik district met Raj Thackeray at his residence, Krishnakinj and requested his help for release of Bhujbal. In this meeting Raj is learned to have called for ‘Bhujbal Chhodo’ agitation. It can be remembered that Raj Thackeray’s MNS has won power for the first time in Nashik Municipality Corporation and Bhhujbal also hails from Nashik district and is considered his stronghold.
