Chennai – Chennai police has registered case against AIADMK leader P Vetrivel, he is booked for violating code of conduct by circulating a video clip of late Chief Minister Jayalalitha. The video is suspected to be shot during her last hospitalization, in which she is seen as watching TV and having fruit juice.
The video was released by Vetrivel, a supporter of TTV Dinakaran group. He belongs to Sasikala group. AIADMK had alleged that Sasikala was responsible for death of Jayalalitha, and there were irregularities in the treatment. The aim of release of this video is said to prove the allegations wrong.
Release of this video raised the eyebrows, just a day before polling in RK Nagar, Jaylalitha’s constituency and forced police to take the action against Vetrivel.
