NCP will form alliance with Congress – Sharad Pawar

Mumbai – Giving full stop to his party’s possible tie up with BJP, NCP leader made it clear that if his party has to form alliance with any party, then it will be only Congress. He was speaking during Samvidhan Bachav Rally organized by opposition forces in the country.

Since from the NCP offered its unconditional support to BJP to form government after assembly elections, talks are doing the rounds about NCP’s proximity of BJP. However, for last one year the NCP is trying to make distance from BJP and swearing by its secular credentials. The two parties joined for combined rally in Nagpur on the eve of winter session of the assembly. However, Prafulla Patel’s role in the Rajya Sabha elections in Gujarat was criticized by Congress, which was seen as tacit help to BJP by Vidarbha leader in order to defeat Sonia Gandhi’s political advisor Ahmed Patel. Sensing the angry mood of farmers and ruler youth, NCP has made its anti-BJP stance clear by organizing Hallabol Yatra, the second leg of this yatra has partially concluded two days back.
