Aurangabad: AIMIM Aurangabad MLA Imtiaz Jaleel has welcomed the decision of the court granting death sentence to three accused of Kopardi rape case.
” This judgement will increase the faith of the people in judiciary. However we feel that the government instead of hanging the three rapists within the confines of a jail should instead hang them in a road square of the city/village where the rape was committed and the entire hanging should be shown live on TV,” said Imtiaz Jaleel, adding such type of rapists are hanged in full public view in Arab countries. This desists people from doing any such heinous act.
AIMIM also feels that all rape cases should be settled in fast track courts as it has been done in the Kopardi case.
