Mumbai – Shiv Sena leader Nilam Gorhe has suggested that young Aditya Thackeray should contest elections against BJP MP Kirit Somaiya for parliamentary elections. Kirit Somaiya currently represents Mumbai North East constituency. Gorhe said that she is voicing desire of party workers. She however added that the final decision regarding this will be that of party chief Uddhav Thackeray.
If Nilam Gorhe’s suggestion is accepted by Uddhav, then Aditya will become the first from Thackeray family to contest election. Aditya is active in politics from his college days and he has worked as Yuva Sena leader for some years before being promoted to second position in the party leadership.
