Mumbai – Many eyebrows are raised over Superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s increasing interest in affairs of Congress. It’s a known history that Amitabh Bachchan was a close friend of Gandhi family and then they drifted apart. Big B has started following many senior leaders of the grand old party on twitter; he is following Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Congress’s official twitter handle, P Chidambaram, Sachin Pilot, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kapil Sibbal and Ahmed Patel.
He is also following other Congress leaders like Sanjay Nirupam, Manish Tiwari, Sanjay Jha and Randeep Surjewala; and leaders from other parties like Sitaram Yechury, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Misa Bharati, Omar Abdullah, and Supriya Sule. After becoming brand ambassador of Gujarat, Amitabh Bachchan was considered to be close to Narendra Modi. But now, his sudden interest in other party leaders has led to many gossips and political pundits are seeing this one more sign of BJP and Modi’s decreasing popularity.
