CM Devendra Fadnavis chairs a meeting on facilities and provisions for divyang, this afternoon. Minister Rajkumar Badole, Dilip Kamble, Pravin Pote Patil and officials were present. CM directs to spend 3% fund reserved by Municipal Corporations and Zilha Parishads in stipulated timeframe, also asked to decide on priorities which includes things like creating basic facilities and support/instruments/help on individual basis too.
He also instructs health department for verification of Divyang certificates to eliminate illegal people applying for reserved Govt jobs & instructs housing dept to prepare a policy to ensure housing for all divyang. CM asked to form a research group for health & education for divyang.
