Mumbai – Two major opposition parties in the state, Congress and NCP, are coming closer with each passing day. Both parties will be meeting on coming Tuesday, i.e. on 6th February. They will discuss the strategies for budget session of the assembly and issues like Legislative Council election, joint agitation against the state government. This meeting will take place in Mumbai.
It is also expected that there will be primary talks about coming together for Assembly and Parliamentary elections scheduled to be held next year. Congress Pradesh President Ashok Chavan, Leader of Opposition in assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Manikrao Thakre will represent Congress. While NCP leaders Ajit Pawar, State President Sunil Tatkare, Leader of Opposition Dhananjay Munde, Jayant Patil, Dilip Walse Patil will attend the meeting.
