New Delhi – After successful Kisan Long March from Nashik to Mumbai that drew attention of the whole country, Kisan Sabha has announced next step of Elgar. Millions of farmers from every corner of the nation will gather in New Delhi in the month of August for Jailbharo Andolan on 9th August, on the same day in 1942, ordinary Indians had called for Quit India Movement against British.
The decision of the next leg of agitation was announced after Kisan Sabha’s meeting held here today. Com Ashok Dhawale, Com. Ajit Navale and other functionaries were present for the meeting. Complete loan waiver, 150% MSP, enforcing recommendations of Swaminathan Commission will be the major demands of the farmers. For this Kisan Sabha has decided to present a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed by 10 crores farmers throughout the country..
