Mumbai – Nationalist Congress Party has announced its Halalbol Yatra in Marathwada. The Yatra will begin on 16th January and will end on 31st January in the presence of Sharad Pawar. The aim of this yatra is to raise farmers’ and agrarian issues. Prior to winter session of the assembly, NCP has organized similar Hallabol Yatra in Vidarabha, which was culminated in a huge joint Congress-NCP rally in Nagpur. That Yatra was termed as successful by political pandits.
In 2014 elections, NCP scored poorly in both Vidarbha and Marathwada. Keeping an eye on 2019 elections, NCP is strengthening its organization in these two divisions.
