Mumbai –Opposition parties in Maharashtra Congress and NCP have moved no confidence motion against Haribhau Bagade, Speaker of Legislative Assembly. Opposition leaders have accused him of adopting partisan approach during functioning of the lower house of the assembly. They also alleged that he is acting in favour of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
According to the business schedule, lower house was to discuss the Governor’s speech, but the speech was approved without any discussion, this angered the opposition members. Congress and NCP, both parties were seen together on this issue.
