Chennai – Superstar Rajinikanth said that he has entered politics to fill up the vacuum in politics of Tamil Nadu. He delivered his first public speech after announcing his entry into politics. Referring to J Jaylalitha and M Karunanidhi as strong leaders, he said that during their time there was no vacuum in the state. But now the state needs a leader and hence I have entered the politics, he said.
Rajinikanth announced his decision to enter the politics on 31st December in Chennai. Since then he has launched a website, so that people can register as members of his Rajini Mundaram. Currently his team is busy in building up the organisation at district level.
