Karnataka Election : No ‘Hindu Extremism’ for Congress

New Delhi – In wake of upcoming Karnataka assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi has asked Congress workers and leaders not to use words like ‘Hindu extremists’ and ‘terrorist’ for RSS and BJP. A few days back Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has called BJP and RSS as “terrorists”. BJP has planned to make Hindutva strong election plank in Karnataka, as part of it, UP’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, known for his hardline politics, is making frequent trips of Karnataka.

Rahul Gandhi met Congress leaders yesterday and advised not to use the words, which BJP can use for its advantage during campaigning. Especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi is master in the arts of twisting and spinning any criticism to his advantage. Also Congress does not want to be seen as being anti-Hindu. So we can expect Rahul Gandhi to visit all major temples in the poll-bound state.
