New Delhi – Congress President has attacked Modi government for not making public the price of Rafael aircrafts, India is buying 36 such aircrafts from France. Rahul Gandhi alleged that there is a scam in this deal, citing Defense Minister’s written answer in Rajya Sabha. Congress MP Rajeev Gowda had asked question about the deal, replying to his question, Nirmala Sitharaman refused to disclose the price of 36 fighter aircrafts.
Rahul Gandhi said that this the first time that government is not sharing the monetary details of a defense deal. He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally got the deal done and now the government is not ready to give details of it, this means there is a scam. Rahul Gandhi spoke to media outside parliament, later Congress also addressed a press conference and asked questions about the deal.
