Mumbai – Ex Chief Minister Narayan Rane is still waiting for inclusion in state cabinet, however if rumours are to be believed, he is not likely to get it anytime soon. Instead BJP is planning to send him to Rajya Sabha. BJP expects Rane to counter Shiv Sena with his blunt attacks on the saffron ally in upper house of the Parliament.
Though relations between Shiv Sena and BJP are no more cordial, BJP is in no mood to tease SS by including Rane in state cabinet, similarly, it also can’t keep Rane waiting for long. Hence the party has found this middle path. BJP has 3 seats from the state and Rane is likely to be one of them. RS elections will be held on 23rd March.
