BJP is mulling over “this” name for Bhandara-Gondia LS bye-election

Mumbai – BJP’s MP from Bhandara-Gondia Nana Patole has resigned. He is likely to join Congress. He has threatened to travel to Gujarat to expose Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s caste certificate. His moves has created clutter in political circle, at the same time different names are making round as BJP’s candidate for LS bye-election from Bhandara-Gondia.

According to information given by sources, BJP is likely to choose Dr. Parinay Fuke as its candidate. Dr. Fuke, is member of upper house of Maharashtra’s assembly and considered a trusted aide of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He is well educated and represents local bodies in Bhandara-Gondia in Legislative Council. Clean image is his one more strong point. Fuke began his political career from Nagpur Municipal Corporation.

After tendering his resignation, Nana Patole has said that he decide about contesting bye-election after it’s declared. So it’s to be seen if he will be opposition’s candidate for the election. At present, according to Congress-NCP agreement, Bhandara-Gondia constituency is with NCP. But if Nana Patole joins Congress, as he is expected to do so, it will be interesting to see what NCP’s move would be.
