Mumbai – Congress president Rahul Gandhi will visit Mumbai in March. It will be his first meeting after taking over party’s leadership. Mumbai Congress president Sanajay Nirupam informed media about Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the metro city. Nirupam told that aim of Rahul’s visit is to nullify negativity among the people against the grand old party.
Assembly elections in Maharashtra are scheduled to take place in October 2019. However, it looks that Rahul Gandhi is taking keen interest in the organizational affairs right from now. Maharashtra has always been stronghold of Congress party. Though the party scored poorly in both Parliamentary and Assembly elections, Congress expects to do weel again looking at the current situation of the state.
